So it has come to my attention that some people still haven’t heard about Warp. Are you one of them? Have you stumbled here, cold and naked from the wilds of the internet, with no idea who or where you are? Well if that is indeed your situation (and we certainly hope not, because that sounds a little gross) then things are looking up: we posted an article on the PlayStation Blog that provides a handy introduction to Warp. Check it out!
If you work in a game studio, chances are you know how crazy things get towards the end of production. Trapdoor is no exception, and 8 hour days have become 16+ hour days as the team wages war against any and all last-minute bugs that pop up. Still, the latest press for the game has really kept our spirits up – you can check out some of the great articles here, here, and here.
And speaking of studio, our new Trapdoor website is up! It is super sleek and professional. Just like this guy.
To kick off the start of (honest-to-goodness) regular blog posting, we’d like to share our latest trailer. This one focuses on two of the abilities Zero possesses in the game – namely, Echo and Swap. I could go into a lengthy description of what they do and how they work, but why don’t I let the video do the talking? Oh and be sure to watch until the very end.
So the team is assembled here in Seattle, working hard on the very last day of PAX Prime. The reaction to the game has been incredible, and though we’re completely exhausted the great people we’ve met have really made the show an awesome experience. A huge, huge thank you to everyone who came out and tried the game!
Other than PAX this has been a huge week for us – our debut trailer came out AND our new website is up! There are still some tweaks that need to be made but we’re super happy with the new design – come back here often for updates leading up to our Winter release.
